Ingrid joined Assegaf Hamzah & Partners in 2013, focusing her practice on all aspects of Indonesian competition law, including merger control, competition investigations, and competition compliance programs.
Ingrid boasts extensive experience handling multi-jurisdictional merger filings and has actively participated in numerous notable transactions before the Indonesia Competition Commission (KPPU). Beyond merger filings, Ingrid has represented clients in investigations and proceedings related to cartels and abuse of dominance. Her experience also covers competition advisories and matters related to competition compliance programs, with clients spanning various sectors such as shipping, aviation, cement, telecommunications, heavy machinery, glass, banking, insurance, agriculture, oil and gas, and petrochemicals.
In addition to competition/antitrust, Ingrid is also an integral part of the firm’s consumer protection team, where she advises on issues related to product liability and other aspects of Indonesian consumer law.
Prior to joining Assegaf Hamzah & Partners, Ingrid worked for an Indonesian boutique antitrust firm where she started specialising in competition law. During her time at the firm, she was involved in competition law advisories, merger filings, and competition audit projects for multinational companies across various industries.
Before focusing on competition/antitrust as well as consumer protection, Ingrid also worked at another premier law firm in Indonesia, specialising in capital market and general corporate. This experience has equipped her with a broad overview of multiple fields, complementing her expertise in competition/antitrust and consumer protection matters.

- Represented PT Surya Media Citaprima in a KPPU post-merger notification in relation to the share acquisition of PT Citraprima Jakarta Televisi (Mentari TV) (2023)
- Represented PT Aplikasi Karya Anak Bangsa (now PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk) as the defendant in the late merger filing case before the KPPU (2023)
