Successfully Assisted PSSI in Registering Maarten V. Paes as the Goalkeeper for the Indonesian National Team

Assegaf Hamzah & Partners (AHP) successfully assisted the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI) with the registration of Maarten V. Paes as the goalkeeper for the Indonesian national football team ahead of the AFC Third-Round World Cup Qualifiers. Collaborating with Parmars, an international sports and business law consultancy, AHP’s role included advising on the naturalisation process, reviewing documents, and preparing the application for the change of association.

This monumental achievement strengthens the defence of the Indonesian national team and enhances their chances of qualifying for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The collaboration reflects AHP’s commitment to supporting the progress of sports in Indonesia and contributing on the international stage.
