Successful Merger of PT Angkasa Pura I and PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia Creates InJourney Airports
AHP is proud to have successfully assisted in the establishment of InJourney Airports, formed through the merger of Indonesia’s two largest airport operators, PT Angkasa Pura I and PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (formerly known as PT Angkasa Pura II). Following the merger, InJourney Airports becomes the fifth-largest airport operator in the world, managing 37 airports under a unified service system. This merger marks a significant milestone in enhancing the global competitiveness of Indonesian airports.
The nine-month merger process involved coordination across multiple ministries and stakeholders and is anticipated to deliver a range of benefits, including reduced logistics costs, improved efficiency of air transportation services, and the creation of a more integrated and dynamic airport ecosystem.
